Camp Fire USA Alaska Council’s programs build caring, confident youth and future leaders through school-based child care, community drop-in centers in low income neighborhoods, resident and day camps and a rural Alaska program that brings camp counselors to remote villages for summer programs. All programs provide a safe, nurturing and enriching environment in which youth grow and learn.


 
The Anchorage Concert Association is a non-profit organization that presents, promotes and produces performing arts events, theatrical events, and related activities of a cultural and educational nature. It brings world-class performing artists to Anchorage for public performances as well as enriching education and outreach events including school shows, master classes, workshops and more. Its 2006/2007 season includes 17 unique and diverse artists in 57 performances from September through May.



 

The Alaska Conservation Foundation is an Alaska community foundation which builds strategic leadership and support for Alaskan efforts to take care of wildlands, waters, and wildlife which sustain diverse cultures, healthy communities, and prosperous economies. Since 1980 ACF has granted over $24 million in approximately 2,600 grants to over 200 organizations. Programs of ACF include the Alaska Coalition, Alaska Oceans Program, Alaska Rainforest Campaign, Climate Change Initiative, and Conservation Intern Program.
