As an Alaska Silver Hand artist for three years, I opted for a graphic genre for the 2009 design. The fresh contemporary rendering portrays the Pacific Northwest Coast Style design. One side depicts the sleek clean modern look of a red salmon. The opposite has the traditional native symbolic and spiritual images of the mythic Raven. After merging it finishes as an arched jumping “Lady In Red” Salmon.

The tale is a side view of a large Raven Totem pole. The middle symbol is for Raven stealing the Sun. To the left are 3 stars topped with a large Sun. The top right is a side view of the skeletal backbone. Salmon bones are a part of Celebration of First Harvest. An offering of the bones are returned to the sea for a guarantee in a bountiful harvest for the coming year. The salmon head shows one continuous line of the "Circle of Life" native tribal tattoo.
