Late Entry 07 by Donald R Ricker tells the story of one particular male red who really enjoyed swimming around in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. He kind of got caught up carrying on around there, procrastinating a little maybe, until when he finally made it to the Kuskokwim, the River was frozen!

Salmon are adaptable and this one still wants to make it upstream to mate, even though it's Late!

Late Entry 07 is Ricker's third for the Wild Salmon on Parade. The others, NASCAR Jack and Float Fish, also expanded on Alaskans dual love affair with fish and internal combustion engines. The artist lives and works in Spenard, and publishes the online ArtSceneAK.net zine reviewing Alaskan art and Alaska's artists now in it's sixth volume.
