I guess you could call it "Fun Therapy"!  I never would have believed how much fun a fish, some pvc pipe, and some plywood could be!

I had been very ill in bed for over 5 months. One morning God said to me:" It's time to get up and have some fun! You've been way too serious!" Then He put the picture of the" Canned Salmon" clearly in my mind!  So I got up and quickly sketched it out and mailed it in just in time! My health quickly improved. And then came the joyful call that my entry had been accepted!

And all during the process of making the "sketch" come to "reality", God was right there having fun with me, giving me lots of new ideas to make it even better! He's truly the Master Artist!

As an artist I love everything from pottery to quilts, soft pastels to fiber-arts, pen and ink, to my current favorite...oil pastels on fabric... except when I'm playing "improv" on my 36 string maple folk harp! (I worked with a small company of Seattle luthiers making harps and hammered dulcimers for 8 years.)
