Born and raised in metro NY. B.S./M.S. from S.U.N.Y New Paltz.
I taught
Art for 31 years in Huntington, Long Island. I’m most
proud of the fact that I taught 31 unique years, not one year, 31 times! I
moved to Alaska in September 2002. After nesting for 3 months, I became
a docent at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson
Center. Upon entering
the museum on Monday mornings for training, I say “ Honey, I’m
home!”. I
absolutely adore fashion; color, shape, texture, and beautiful design
of luscious fabrics! In dressing myself, I am
not interested in following
trends, but preferring to find unusual, artistic pieces. It was natural
for me to paint Prada accessories for this year’s fish. I love all kinds of Art and the creation of Art in any medium. My
tastes run to the eclectic- whether it is Art, fashion, food, entertainment,
people, or places. Life is a banquet that I live zestfully!
