Lori Schanche is a registered landscape architect who presently works for the Municipality of Anchorage as the No_Mo Co (Non-Motorized Transportation Coordinator) and a Project Manager. She participated in Wild Salmon on Parade in 2004 and brings a nuts and bolts approach to her sculpture this year. She has created an Alaskan hardware fish using various bolts, washers, gee-gaws and other small galvanized or copper or rusted elements, for a salmon that will truly bring a flash of recognition and a glint of envy to many a tinker-er.
