Suzan Miller-Garrison is the owner of Miller Insurance Associates. She is a professional and award-winning woodcarver and a member and past president of Last Frontier Woodcarvers in Anchorage. Suzan also carves ice and participated in the Anchorage Downtown Partnership’s 2006 Annual Crystal Gallery of Ice exhibition. Her fish was created using various sized stones and beads. Her sculpture comes from the idea that no part of a salmon is wasted—we manage to use all parts, even if they are used to catch more salmon.
