Carla Shierholt is a teacher at Kenny Lake School. For the past nine years, she and her students have been raising Coho salmon. As part of their study of salmon, her second and third grade students drew designs and came up with ideas of what they thought fish might wish for. From wishing for holes in nets, to clean and clear water, their salmon sculpture will delight everyone with its whimsical ideas and fun designs.
