Rauch works full-time as a Chaplain at Providence Alaska Medical
Center, but her equal and second love has always been art, fiber
and mixed media. Bianca has been knitting for 30+ years, has been
a member of several fiber arts guilds, teaches fiber arts classes
and sells her work professionally. Her artistic background includes
knitting, spinning, weaving, beading and metalwork. "Knit for a King"
was constructed with a variety of fiber and surface design techniques
including fair isle, duplicate stitch and embroidery, beads and paint.
Materials used: nylon rope, yarn, ribbons.
