"Knit for a King"

Bianca Rauch works full-time as a Chaplain at Providence Alaska Medical Center, but her equal and second love has always been art, fiber and mixed media. Bianca has been knitting for 30+ years, has been a member of several fiber arts guilds, teaches fiber arts classes and sells her work professionally. Her artistic background includes knitting, spinning, weaving, beading and metalwork. "Knit for a King" was constructed with a variety of fiber and surface design techniques including fair isle, duplicate stitch and embroidery, beads and paint. Materials used: nylon rope, yarn, ribbons.
